This song sampled “forever//aj” by nshvll. Initially, I heard their song and fell in love with it instantly, and with them, we made this. For me, this song is about getting used to the presence of someone or something you know is harmful to you and how you get so accustomed to it being a part of your life that when it goes, you oddly miss it and the sudden life change throws you off, despite it being a good change for you.

Unfortunately, life does not always pan out the way we want it to, and there’s only so much help someone can have before you have to give up for your own sake.
